I don't think consumers are not buying it because of price because let's face it, who doesn't have an overpriced P.O.S? A Psp maybe? The graphics are better I'll give them that, but not by much. Fact is, I have more fun Playing my Ps2, Wii or 360 then I have ever had in my past experiences with the Ps3. You look at the baseball games 2k sports is making for the 360, they're just as good graphic wise as any ps3 game. I last played Madden 07 on the Ps3 and when the camera pans out the players are pixelized, who wants that??? The wii is selling because of the overall package. Price, a clean sleek design, games(The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Being the killer app) and it comes packed with 5 little sports games that are fun! I still can't get away from wii boxing and of all games baseball! I hate baseball games for the consoles, but I love this one. They've found something new and innovative and Nintendo is going to do everything in their power to make it successful. Bringing back the old games is probably one of the best ideas I've ever seen considering most of those games you can't buy in stores anymore unless you get lucky and they have a copy at your local Gamecrazy

Everyone knew nintendo would kill the crap out of Sony. I think if Sony had actually provided enough units for people they probably would have done better over this christmas.

I agree with you, but Sony hasn't been able to provide enough units for Christmas. Personally, if I was Sony, I would have waited a bit longer before launching the console. If they did that they would have had enough consoles to go around at launch, and they probably would have had a killer title at launch as well (Nintendo has "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" and Microsoft has "Gears of War"). Also, there's a chance that the manufacturing cost of Blu-Ray drives would have dropped some, which would have in turned lowered the cost of the console to make it more attractive to the consumer.

All that said, remember that Sony's PlayStation 2 launch was a flop as well, and the console ended up being the king of it's generation. So I wouldn't count the PS3 out of the race just yet.
