Apple announces new iPods, iTunes update, and one more thing: the iTV
Published September 12th, 2006 in TechnologySteve Jobs just made a keynote today announcing a whole slew of iPod and iTunes related developments. A new aluminum iPod Shuffle will be released that is about the size of a belt buckle (and sports a belt clip). In addition, a new series of aluminum iPod Nanos will be released in multiple colors, with a design similar to the iPod Mini. The 40GB and 60GB iPods will be bumped up to 60GB and 80GB respectively. And of course, there is the new functionality in iTunes, specifically the new ability to download both movies and games. Also, a new iTV has been announced, a box that will store your media for playback on your television. These are all interesting developments, now all we need are the Core 2 Duo versions of the MacBook and MacBook Pro lines.
