On ASUS motherboards, all Core 2 Duos get multiplier adjustment
Published August 17th, 2006 in TechnologyIntel’s Core 2 Duo processors previously did not allow you to adjust the multiplier, with the exception of the Core 2 Extreme, the most expensive (and heavily overpriced) of the bunch. Thanks to a new BIOS update from ASUS you can now adjust the multiplier on the entire Core 2 Duo line. So, overclock away!
