Apple quietly updates MacBook Pro logic boards
Published August 17th, 2006 in TechnologyAs you know by now, the MacBook Pro has a few problems, specifically with heat issues, wireless connectivity, and LCD flicker. Anyway, Apple is now having it’s service centers install new logic boards on the affected MacBook Pros, and provide an updated version of OS X to go along with it if necessary. This presumably fixes most of the issues with the MacBook Pros, so if you’re having these issues, now is the time to head on down to your local Apple Store’s Genius Bar and get them fixed. You gotta love how Apple loves to quietly issue fixes for their hardware issues, good thing the blogosphere is here to make sure the word gets out to everyone who matters anyway.
