TechTV Reborn as ‘UndoTV’
Published August 15th, 2006 in TechnologyI am very pleased to hear about this news. Chris Pirillo and Leo Laporte are starting a new online video site, hosted by members of the now defunct TechTV. If you remember, TechTV was purchased by Comcast a few years ago, and operated it as G4/TechTV. Soon afterward, Comcast shut down TechTV entirely, removing all of it’s good staff and good content, leaving behind the pile of crap that is known as G4. Many of the TechTV alumni have gone on to do other things (Leo Laporte hosts TWiT, Kevin Rose founded Digg, Pirillo owns Lockergnome). Now, however, we will see a return of the TechTV programming we all remember, where the cast talked about technology and actually knew what they were talking about. I am excited.
