Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap.

Well, how long have you had it? After about 6 months mine started getting really hot because the airflow was being blocked by dust. Try buying one of those electronic duster cans and spraying in the vents. That worked for me. If that still doesn’t work, then I’d probably call tech support.

I just bought a new battery for my laptop because I don’t want anything blowing up on me. It works great and a little piece of mind is great.
