This is an interesting list of people’s opinions on what “Web 2.0″ means. If anything, it really goes to show just how stupid this buzzword is when nobody can agree on what it actually means. Some people say it means social sites, some people say it means the use of JavaScript to enhance the user experience, some people say it means user-generated services, and some just decry it for what it is: a stupid buzzword. I agree with the latter. That said, it won’t stop me from using it whenever I want to generate interest in a service, buzz if you will, because that’s what buzzwords are for.
